One of the most famous temples, Todai-ji in Nara. What I want to tell you specially, is 'Mantou Kuyoue' Ceremony on August 15th. The expression of The Daibutsu in the candle lights has something that cannot be told you by only pictures. It's impressive so much.

Todai-ji Temple
Access：20 min walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. By bus from Kintetsu Nara Station, 4 min to 'Daibutsu-den Kasuga Taisha Mae', then 5 min walk. By bus from JR Nara Station, 10 min to 'Daibutsu-den Kasuga Taisha Mae', then 5 min walk. By car, 45 min from Osaka, or 60 min from Kyoto.
