I visited Nanzenji Temple, a popular spot for autumn leaves, and Tenju-an Temple, which has two beautiful gardens, in kimono. The autumn leaves in the eastern garden were in full bloom, and it was a magnificent view that you could see forever while sitting on the porch. Another wonderful view that sighs is the autumn leaves in the south garden, which looks like a painting, cut out by the window frame of the Shoin. When I raised my face to buy a ticket at the entrance, I jumped into my eyes first and was fascinated.

Hase-dera Temple has so long and beautiful 399 steps. More than 1000 wild deer live in the huge park with lush greenery, and we can meet them freely. Some stands sell Shika Senbei (deer's cracker), and you can feed them, but please beware of so many deer getting together around you!

Ride a ropeway from the foot of the mountain, you can go there like a garden of heaven. Tiled pool of a café and yellow lemonade are stylish. But the nature blue colors of Lake Biwa and the sky are most wonderful.◎Weekends are very crowded, so weekday mornings are better. The menus of the café are only light meal, so use other restaurants in you want to eat your fill.
