Surprisingly it was built in 1928, although it's an imitation donjon. And the oldest one in Japan. On the way to there, you can see the historical stone wall and at the top, there is a nice scenery waiting you.

From STARBUCKS COFFEE located in Awaji Service Area, you can see the ocean view with Akashi Strait Bridge, which is the best suspension bridge in Japan. In front of the great view, Strawberry Cream Frappuccino is very ideal for the rest of your driving.◎Access: Awaji SA on the down line of Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Speedway. The shop isn't so big, but its terrace is spacious.

Awaji-shima is famous for onion production. Sweet and soft braised Awaji-shima onion. It's good with only oil and salt, but miso sauce with minced Awaji beef will make it more delicious one.

All rooms are ocean view hotels with the concept of "a trip to enjoy doing nothing" on Awaji Island. There is a pool on the terrace and the sunset is very beautiful in the evening. At night, the donut-shaped sofa was candled up and it was very emo. I could eat breakfast while looking at the sea, and the amenities were Maison Margiela.

They call 'Nama-shirasu', row young sardine, that is caught in the local Iwaya port and served by only the particular way of dealing to keep it fresh. And you can't eat it everywhere. Here serves Nama-shirasu with homemade citrus soy sauce.
