You can see various beautiful figures of Itsukushima Shrine by the tidal current because its precinct partly belongs to the sea. Big Torii floating on the sea at high tide is wonderful, but what is more, at low tide, you can walk to it and see the beautiful reflection in the pool.◎The most beautiful reflection can be seen when the Torii is soaked a little bit in the water. You need to look for a pool with no waves.

KAKIWAI, located on a hill beyond the alley, has very wonderful open scenery! The cheese cake made from locally grown lemon is pulpy and delicious with its refreshing sweetness. Not only sweets, they prepare oyster dishes and alcoholic drinks.

One of the good-seller menus, pudding à la mode with milk pudding, strawberry, vanilla ice cream, caramel walnut. The lovely cookie on it changes every time, so you can look forward to it. 4 min walk from Tokaichi Station of Hiroshima Railways. Strawberry pudding à la mode for 650 yen needs to be ordered with something to drink.

There're shop and accommodation at the first floor. We visited cafe&bar at the second floor this time. The room was very chic but somehow comfortable. Of course, their lemonade was delicious. Homemade Lemonade 600 yen.

You can enjoy the hot springs while watching the spectacular view from the guest room with a semi-open-air hot spring bath that was just renewed this year. I could see the torii gate of the famous Itsukushima Shrine from the room. All the dishes are delicious, and you can enjoy Miyajima-san's seafood and mountain food. Miyajima has different views at low tide and high tide, so Kinsuikan is highly recommended for staying and enjoying.

No.1 in Miyajima! Fresh, thick tastes and big. Its smell tempts people and a deer to form a line, then the long line appears. It's near the ferry, you should eat at first.

Standing at the hill top and a good place to view the scenery. You can see the whole of Itsukushima Shrine and the sea. And cherry blossoms in Spring! I think here's one of the best places to view the sceneries in Miyajima.

Sensui Island is 6km in circumference and you get there in 5 minutes from Tomonoura by a ferryboat. The island is said that it is so beautiful enough to a hermit is fascinated and has a seaside promenade with one of the best ocean views in Setouchi. So, you can enjoy seeing the ocean view and powerful craggy place while walking.

Tsuzumi-iwa is a huge stone located near Senko-ji Park. It's a scenic spot where we can take a photo with a beautiful Onomichi town behind us. The stone is called 'Pom Pom Iwa' because it sounds 'pom pom' when it's hit with a rock.

Itsukushima Shrine on Iwashi Island in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Iwashi Island is an island next to Mukaishima on the Shimanami Kaido and is connected by a bridge! The torii that stands toward the sea is mysterious as if it were welcoming the god of the sea. It's a little-known spot, so you can spend a relaxing time on the sandy beach while gazing at the spectacular scenery. There is free parking!

The architecture of the observatory without any windows nor wall is worth seeing, but all said and done, it's a precious place where you can see the Atomic Bomb Memorial Dome by the same way as birds. Why don't you see Hiroshima city and Miyajima and think about the importance of peace?
