Carving deer with an oracle (omikuji) in its mouth is popular, but a white-deer oracle given only during Shikinen-zoutai (repair of the shrine) is talked about its cuteness. Harry up, it's going to end in a short time!

Because the shrine related to a kabuki play titled 'General Yoshitsune and Thousand Cherry Trees', some kabuki actors and celebrities visit here. And in spring, a weeping plum tree, planted as a memorial tree when sixth Kankuro Nakamura succeeded the name, blooms with nice fragrance to be worth seeing.

Preparing against the landslide, Murou Art Forest is a park designed by world's famous sculptor Dani Karavan. I could feel the greatness of nature, seasons, and the current of time from head to foot.◎The brochure will be useful to get how to access. But some roads are narrow. I saw people coming by micro bus, so it's impossible to use a bigger bus.

Impressive atmosphere of brick building. It was built more than 100 years ago, and it's the only one existing among 'five great prisons in Meiji Period'. It was used actually up to a few months ago, and will leave the old and good parts to be used for a historical hall from now on.◎Rebuilt for quake-proof engineering, it will become a hotel and historical hall around 2020. You can't enter the building, but only the gate and wall are impressive!
