There's a line of cherry blossom trees as long as 5 kilometers along the Saho River. We can see various scene at every spot. The first pic is around Sawai Hospital, and the second is around Nara Library & Information Center.

One of the most famous temples, Todai-ji in Nara. What I want to tell you specially, is 'Mantou Kuyoue' Ceremony on August 15th. The expression of The Daibutsu in the candle lights has something that cannot be told you by only pictures. It's impressive so much.

It's a café under the direct management of a fruit farm in Yoshino, Nara. I recommend their fruit sandwich firstly. The fruit is delicious of course, the bread of brown sugar and the cream not too sweet are excellent!◎You can eat both for here and to go. They sell fruit and dry fruit, too. Open: 10:00~19:00, no regular holidays.

A cafe located in a renovated mansion of a wealthy merchant from the Edo period. The weeping cherry blossoms in the courtyard were beautiful! There is a bamboo forest from inside the store. And I found a parfait that was so cost-effective! Cherry Blossom Parfait 955 yen *excluding tax. In this age of soaring prices, parfaits are now in the 3,000 yen range, and prices have not gone up! Hannya-ji is well-known place as a cosmos temple in Nara. There're cosmos covering whole of the precinct. The best season is from early September to late October.◎Admission fee: 500 yen. Parking area is available for 500 yen for 2 hours only during the season of cosmos.

Summer festival held at a vast site of Heijo Palace. This summer, the lighting event 'TOUKAE' was held at night, the sky changing its color every moment and the fantastic candle lights are wonderful. Wakakusa-yama Yaki is held on forth Saturday of January every year. Yama-yaki (mountain burning) and fireworks don't start at the same time, but both of them are worth seeing so much. You should go next year!
