The night view and illuminations of Yokohama were beautiful. The venue is Sakura Dori from the east exit of Yokohama Station, Sakura Dori from Grand Mall Park, and illuminations of about 1.5km. The period is from November 12, 2020 to February 14, 2021. Lighting time is from 16:00 to 23:00.

A rare site of racetrack stands in Negishi Forest Park, and there're also a horse museum and pony center near here.◎Can't go inside it now, but just the exterior is impressive. It's nice to stop by during you drive because it has a parking lot.

Just when you thought Christmas was over, Strawberry Afternoon Tea started on December 26th. The strawberries sitting in the center are impressive. Inside is pistachio mousse and strawberry sauce. I thought it would be heavy, but it was easy to eat and delicious, and disappeared in no time. Everything is delicious, the view is amazing, and the customer service is great, so it's no wonder it's difficult to make reservations.

Coppa Fiore limited to 5 meals a day, this time the theme is hydrangea. Lemon madeleine and crocacante are placed on top of a soft gelée made with the hotel's homemade cherry jam, the extract of Nadeshiko flowers, and the scent of parfait. The stand will be filled with sweets perfect for spring, such as macarons with cherry blossom trees on them and sweets with cherry blossom-shaped chocolates. An aquarium located in Shonan Beach. Fishes swimming freely in a large aquarium and dolphins playing spiritedly in a show! When you want to swim, go to the shore just behind you! You can enjoy the sea atmosphere all day. The rainy season lends charm to purple sweet flags. You can enjoy seeing the colorful sweet flags in lots of kinds. A water wheel going around calmly and an appearance of a hana-tsumi musume (a girl gathering withered flowers) make us feel the landscape of old times somehow.

15 min walk from Kamakura Station, I happened to see the sunset in Yuigahama Beach. I think the sea of Kamakura in winter is the most beautiful in the clear air than other seasons. I don't use any filters for this picture.

Located at Yokosuka, Sarushima Island is a desert island, and the biggest and only site of fort in Tokyo Bay. There're battery sites and long tunnels built by red bricks. Fantastic scenery of lush nature covering the desert place is like a world of 'Laputa' in a Ghibli Movie 'Castle In The Sky'. ◎Almost all of the island is used as Sarushima Park now, and you can enjoy fishing, BBQ, sea bathing and so on. Access: Firstly, you need to go to Mikasa Pier. It's too far to walk from JR Yokosuka Station, but from Keikyu Yokosuka Chuou Station to the pier is only 15 min walk. Then, 10min by ferry to from Mikasa Pier to Sarushima, though there's only one ferry in one hour. I could see around the island in one hour!

It's in the upper reaches of Kurokura River at Nishitanzawa Yamakita cho. The natural beauty weaved of deep green and autumn leaves make us forget the trekking tiredness. To the destination, you go through the hand-dug tunnels and pitch-dark ones, and walk 7km to the Kumaki dam from Kurokura area.

Tenkei-san Gyokuhoji Temple (byname: Gohyaku-Rakan) was built by a vassal of Hojo Family. The main temple has, relatively small, 25-60cm tall, 526 Rakan statues with various faces. The scene of the temple filled up with the statues is really overwhelming!◎Access: From Odawara Station, take Daiyuzan Line to Gohyaku-Rakan Station. Easy access from there.

Kawasaki City is a part of Keihin Industrial Area. There're many factories standing along the seaside such as ironworks, petrochemical complex and chemical factories. You can drive leisurely around Chidori and Ukishima Town, or look down from Kawasaki Line of Metropolitan Expressway!◎Bus is available from Kawasaki Station but use own cars is better because there're only factories around here. Get down the Expressway at Ukishima or Tonomachi of Kawasaki Line.

Kawasaki Daishi Heiken-ji Temple has the second biggest number of visitors on New Year's Day (Hatsu-moude) in Japan. Their Goma Pray is very strong with the sounds of drums and sutra recitation! Shopping in the precinct can be also an attraction.◎There're parking lot (both free and toll), but they're possible to be full except for the early morning. Train is most convenient.
