Seto Inland Sea and the townscape of Kan'onji are very moving scenery. A reward which comes after climbing up the mountain.◎Walk: 40 min from the parking lot of the foot of the mountain. The road is paved in the first half, but after that, it a mountain path. And there're steep steps at the end near the top. Car: you can access to the shrine by car from Fudo Waterfall.

Seen from the mountain, islands of Seto Inland Sea are beautiful so much. Mt.Shiude is a popular spot to view Setouchi, called 'beauty of the sea with many small islands'. The observatory on the mountain top is famous, but this observatory beside the parking lot is a photogenic special seat.◎I know, you want to go to the main observatory on the top first, but one beside the parking is also nice. Don’t miss it.

Hydrangeas coloring the slope are very impressive. A walk in the lush grove has beautiful blue hydrangeas and makes very fantastic scenery. Hydrangea Festival is held in the middle of June every year.◎30 min could be enough to see slowly around the precinct and walk. Free parking lot is available.

This museum was opened on the concept of "coexistence of nature, art and architecture". And you can enjoy the modern art works and the building itself with the feeling of island's nature.
