Takasaki city of Gunma Prefecture is famous for a bringer of good luck 'Daruma'. The amount of production is the biggest in Japan (80%!), and almost all of the daruma dolls used for elections are made in Takasaki. Located such a place, Shorinzan Daruma-ji Temple has many dedicated daruma, and it's worth seeing.◎20 min by taxi from Takasaki Station. 30 min by bus from Takasaki Station West Gate to Shorinzan Iriguchi, then 1 min walk. By car, 30 min from Takasaki IC of Kan'etsu Speedway.
