Tomioka Silk Mill is the first mill of thread, that appears in the modern history of Japan. Inside the silk reeling plant built in Meiji Era, there're some automatic machines of reeling equipped in Showa Era, and I feel like to see the scenery of craftsmen working there!◎Parking area is available. You can walk from Joshu Tomioka Station, if you access by trains. Guide-tour will be better for people without any background information.
