Many wild deer live in Miyajima, and they sometimes appear around Itsukushima Shrine. Not only deer, you see some wild birds such as herons and ducks. But, be careful not to be robbed your bag by deer!◎Ferry is available from a port near Miyajima-guchi Station. Most parking areas are located around Miyajima-guchi Station. But in the seasons of cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, Miyajima would be very crowded.

Among other world heritages, Iwami Ginzan Silver Mind is inconspicuous at first sight. But, if you want to see the attractions, Ookubo Mabu (a mine gate) Tour must be better! Such as holes with traces of digging and remains like terrace, you can see the scenes in Edo Period (between the 16-17th centuries) !◎The tour entries need to reserve beforehand, and meet at Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Center, then move to Ookubomabu by bus and on foot. Though you need to walk for a while, you can feel like to be a archaeologist. By the way, you can look Ryugenji Mabu without taking part in the tours.

Glover Garden was registered as a world heritage in 2015. In Christmas season, it's lit up and has different atmosphere than usual! You can see the night Nagasaki city illumination.◎Parking area is available near here. But its better for you to go to Oura Tenshu-dou Shita Station, then walk to Glover Garden. I took these photos in 2012, it has become more gorgeous now for such as projection mapping.

The Hashima Island looks like a military ship. The ruins were the first apartments constructed of concrete in Japan and look weird now. But just the scenery of this World Heritage can recall worker's sprit in the coal mine at that time.

The drift ice arrives at Shiretoko registered as a world heritage site. Some wild animals such as Steller's sea eagle get together to get food. There's a boat to see such creatures from Rausu Port in early morning, and you can enjoy watching them very close!◎Car is convenient here. It's better to come to Rausu the day before and stay at night, then leave for Rausu Port in early morning. The drift ice starts to arrive from the end of February. As soon as the drift ice arrives, you can watch Steller's sea eagle and others like that, but after a while, you can see sea lions. By the way, these eagles get together for the fish thrown from this tour boat, so you have a great chance to watch them.
