Owaku-dani is the site of explosion crater made by eruption of Hakone Volcano 3000 years ago.◎There're parking lots, you can go by car, but it's nice to use a ropeway to see the great view of Owaku-dani.

For the ingredients of hot spring, this black boiled egg (Onsen Tamago) is said to be able to extent one's life. Though it looks jet-black, the inside is almost the same as ordinally boiled egg… But wait! Its yolk is very thick and not dry.◎500yen for 5 eggs. You can buy it only here at Owakudani.

Speacious and beautiful room! The scenery that makes me forget the noise of a big city. For there's no TV in a room, so I enjoyed open-air bath for a long time. I booked this hotel for a day trip, but if you have enough time, you must stay a night.

It was renewed in June 2022, and it's so beautiful that you can't believe it's a hot spring hotel. You can freely use alcohol and cafe drinks, and vinegar drinks and ice bars are always available in the large public bath. Although it is very cheap, the service is substantial, and you can have a very satisfying hotel stay.
