The sea and sweets make your SNS perfect!◎Access: 5min by car from Hakata IC of Shimanami Kaido Speedway. Two tables in the terrace. You can see the seascape beautifully from even inside. Parking lot is available.

Rinrin Suzunoya located in 10 min walk from Kochi Station, and stands alone calmly. They have various menu, that satisfy the customers from the first dish. What's more, if you take a counter-table, you can see them cooking bonito with straws in front of you. All the dishes we ate were delicious.

You can have traditional Tosa's cuisine such as lightly roasted bonito (Katsuo-no Tataki) and whale dishes (sukiyaki in this pic). Lightly roasted bonito is offered anywhere, but here is special! I really like their fatty and roasted savorily bonito served with relishes and their secret sauce.◎The basic course is priced from 5000yen. There're counter seats and Japanese style zashiki seats. The chef was friendly.

Its coating of batter is light and crisp in just degree. And it's excellent with salt. Especially, prawn tempura was very delicious.

This café was renovated from a house as a tangible cultural property in Busshozan which remains the atmosphere of historical temple town. Bread baked by the owner who had run a dry goods store here became popular, and they opened this bread café. A bakery opens in an old house at Naoshima. Their breads made from homemade yeast are simple but baked carefully and very tasty. I feel the effort for the ingredients. Let's eat freshly baked breads and go on the art travel!◎They prepare some breads of foodstuffs grown in Setouchi region. ￥200~. Located on the slope along the seaside between Honmura area and Museum area. No photos inside the shop.

Like a sunroom, it has pretty wooden walls and tables painted in blue. Customers wrapped in this pale blue, talk in lower voice naturally and seem to make themselves at home. The counter seats are special because you can enjoy your holiday while looking over the sea from here.

A superb view, not only that. Kochi is famous for 'Katsuo (bonito) tataki'. This smart interior and the view can make you satisfied enough, but their genuine 'katsuo tataki' with the local solar salt is even more special. Of course, they prepare other kinds of Western dishes.

Kochi has many cafes. Of all others, Coffee Shop Zumzum has the breakfast with great value for the price. The breakfasts are all 450 yen, and even with coffee, it's 500 yen! We must be satisfied with the price and meals to eat in a comfortable cafe.
