Arashiyama's "Itsuki Chaya"'s "Kyoto Don Eating Comparison Set" is the autumn version. What, with a conger shabu-shabu. And from October 4th, a luxurious "Five Grains Fertility Tamatebako" of matsutake mushrooms and crabs will be available for a plus fee. You can enjoy the taste of autumn. Not only looks good, it's really delicious. It is very popular, so early reservation is recommended.

As expected, it is a very quaint cafe with an old folk house because it is located in Arashiyama. It was a thatched-roof house with a garden, and this time I had it relaxing under the eaves. The pudding I received was a little hard, with a pudding that suppressed the sweetness with plenty of egg feeling, a caramel with an adult bitterness, and a whipped cream that added a milky feeling and richness. If you combine the three, it will have an exquisite taste.

It's enjoyable to roll and grill the rice dumplings on Shichirin clay stove by myself. The lovely rice dumplings are while one and green (yomogi) mugwort one. After it's grilled enough, put the mitarashi (sweet soy sauce) sauce or sweet azuki bean jam on them. The beautiful garden is one of the attractions, too.

Japanese afternoon tea in Arashiyama, winter skin care theme, 2023.11.12 - 2024.1.7. It's a delicious aftertaste that feels like lunch, with plenty of savory items such as mini curry and hamburgers. You can enjoy an elegant time while looking at the colorful Arashiyama and houseboats on the Hozugawa River. Blankets and heaters are also provided on the terrace seats, so be sure to enjoy your winter afternoon tea.

Saganoyu. It's a cafe renovated from a public bath, and I enjoyed the atmosphere that makes us feel like being a public bath! Their pan cake is simple and like a Japanese 'hot cake'. I ordered ice cream with it.

I had a spring afternoon tea at CHAVATY Kyoto Arashiyama store. There are lots of contents such as all-you-can-eat scones, popular tea lattes, all-you-can-drink black tea, etc. Reservations are required by the day before, and there are many customers using the cafe, so it is very popular every day, so please make reservations early.

Shinko' is made from rice flour and steamed in a traditional cooking stove. And its characteristic shape is derived from the winding path to the Atado Shrine. This chewy texture and sweet taste give the comfortable rest for the visitors. Even more, the autumn foliage seen from the restaurant is wonderful, the veranda is a special seats!

Sweet cans for autumn drinks have started. Sweet potato to drink, Mont Blanc to drink. Sweets that you can eat while walking. Soy milk reduces guilt. Rich pudding is also rumbling. Surprisingly filling. Take a picture at Togetsukyo Bridge. Would you like to accompany Arashiyama sightseeing?

A persimmon delicious as it is becomes a pickle! It keeps the texture and sweetness as it is, and pickle's saltness is excellent. Though it's like a sweet, it matches alcoholic drinks so much that I can't stop eating! The kindness to remove the seeds makes us easy to eat.

At the foot of Togetsu-kyo Bridge, the originally made udon noodle we eat in front of Arashiyama scenery is superb! Among the menu, 'Yuba Udon' with a big yuba (made from soybean milk) I recommend! Feel Kyoto into this Kyoto style udon noodle with tasty soup, thin and soft noodle.

You can enjoy a set meal made from the locally grown foodstuffs. Their yuba (a skin forming on the surface of the soybean milk) is very excellent. You should visit here when you came to Arashiyama.

At the foot of Okusaga, Arashiyama, there's a lesser-known café standing calmly. Seasonal superb desserts in front of the beautiful autumn scenery of the vast garden once belonged to a Japanese traditional restaurant. You can have a so blissful and calm time that you may forget being in a busy tourist destination.
