Autumn Mt. Wakakusa Dyed With The Evening GlowMt. Wakakusa
Top of Mt. Wakakusa commands the whole view of Nara Park and its city. From the late October, the leaves begin to turn their colors for autumn, and you can enjoy scenery becoming more and more beautiful. I took this picture in early November last year.
World In The Evening GlowMt. Wakakusa
Wakakusa Mountain is known as a sunset-viewing spot in Nara Prefecture. You can take pictures of deer's silhouette as a back ground of the setting sun. ◎Take bus from JR Nara Starion or Kintetsu Nara Station, to 'Todaiji Daibutsu-den, Kasuga Taisha Mae' or 'Kasuga Taisha Omote Sando', then walk 15 min. Or 30 min walk from Kintetsu Nara Station.
Deer And The Setting SunMt. Wakakusa
Wakakusa Yama Mountain is a spot to see deer at close range and the setting sun together. Many people feed deer-cracker to them and take pictures. Both scenery of daytime and nigh are beautiful, I want to visit again.
Wakakusa-yama Yaki And FireworksMt. Wakakusa
Wakakusa-yama Yaki is held on forth Saturday of January every year. Yama-yaki (mountain burning) and fireworks don't start at the same time, but both of them are worth seeing so much. You should go next year!
