Tonami Plain is famous for the scenery of studded houses among the paddy fields. The paddy fields are filled up with water around May, then the houses look to be surrounded with water mirrors. Particularly, you'll be fascinated with the evening scene!◎Car parking area is available. I'm sorry but you can't access by bus.

Yukinodaira Tableland

All mountain climbers long for, Kumono-daira Tableland is located in the depth of Japan North Alps. It's called as 'the last trackless region in Japan', I was so fascinated with the dynamic expanse of flower fields, lava stones, and snowed fields!◎You need to climb the mountain from Oritate or Shin-hodaka Gate, and it takes more than 1 day even for good walkers! Yukinodaira Tableland has a mountain hut and a campsite. The mountain hut has a little water, you should supply the drinking water at the campsite.

Owara Kaze-no Bon Festival

2 Reviews

As to dance, we images something gorgeous. But here, a festival in Yatsuo, Toyama Prefecture, people, who pull hats over their brows, dance silently at night with melancholy music. Though you may think it's a dark dance, you must be fascinated with the tasteful dance!◎The extra parking area is available for cars, then take a shuttle bus to the festival. But there'll be a traffic jam to park cars. 40 min walk from JR Ecchū Yatsuo Station. It's better for tourist to abstain from photoflash.
