They have held it every August for more than 30 years in Otsu, Shiga Pref. Skyrockets is of course powerful, and the directions that makes the most of its location above the lake is worth seeing.

Shouju-in Temple is famous for heart-shaped Inome Window. What's more, Wind Bell Festival (Furin Matsuri) in only summer is lovely wherever you take pictures. The wind bells ring all at once with the winds blow, and they make us forget the summer heat. ◎Reservation is required since 2018. Except for cars, it's difficult to access here, so you need to prepare well beforehand.

Access:By bus, 30 min from JR Takigawa Station, or 180 min from Sapporo Terminal, to 'Hokuryu School'. By car, 120 min from Shin-Chitose Airport.

Sunflowers, and more sunflowers as fa as I can see. Various kinds of sunflowers will make us cheerful. And they prepare some places to eat food, so we can enjoy the site leisurely. No admission fees, the best season is from the late July to the early August.

Access:9 min walk from Unebigoryo-mae Station. By car, 40 min from Nara city.

Water hyacinth becomes its best to see from the late August to September. It's not a popular flower, but has an attraction makes people want to see again next year! It's nice to see with the setting sun, too! ◎Walk 500 meters to the east from Kintetsu Unebigoryomae Station. For cars, the free parking area is available, but it's possible to be full.

Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine 'Momiji Garden' is well known as a beautiful place of scarlet maple leaves. There're about 350 trees of around 400 years old and the new green sceneries make people feel quiet and refreshed in May.

You can meet the beautiful scenery of rainy season, together with the bamboo grove.◎To enjoy seeing and taking pictures of hydrangeas enough, it'll be better for you to visit as soon as Meigetsuin Temple opens, or about one hour before it closes.

The parking area requires 300 yen. The Yashima Dive Way was toll road but now it's free. You should except for the traffic jam after the firework.

Access:3 min walk from Keage Station. By car or taxi, 20 min from Kyoto Station.

Keage Incline has beautiful lush greens in summer. Also, you can see the wonderful scenery every season such as autumn colored leaves and cherry blossoms in spring. For the retro atmosphere, Japanese traditional outfits Kimono and Yukata are excellent with the scenery.

Yonaha Maehama Beach is admired as the best one in the Orient for the impressively beautiful sea and white sands. Famed as a hydrangea temple in Nara, Yata-dera has as many as 10 thousand trees and 60 kinds of hydrangeas including rare ones. We never get tired of watching the differences between the kind at a sample garden.◎Season: from June to the beginning of July every year, they open a hydrangea garden. Hydrangeas spreading toward the mountain are worth seeing. Many visitors come from other prefectures since Yata-dera has various kinds.

At the evening, the supporters lighted the candles one by one, and created this fantastic scenery we rarely seen. The candles are lighted all over Nara Park.

Access:From Taketomi Port, 6 min by bus or 25 min on foot.

Kondoi Beach is located at Taketomi Island, and nice place for sea bathing. Walking sallow beach to the offing, a little sandy beach appeared and I could take this photo. I felt relaxed in the sea all around me.

Access:3min walk from JR Ritsurin Koen North Station, 10min walk from Kotoden Ritsurin Koen Station. 3min walk from JR Ritsurin Koen Kitaguchi Station. The nearest bus stop is Ritsurin Koen Mae. By car, 30min from Takamatsu Airport, 15min from Takamatsu Chu'ou IC.



Iris Garden located at North Garden Of Ritsurin Koen. There're more than 3000 roots of iris, and you can see the special scene only in June. A little earlier, in late May, you can find the heart-shaped azalea tree with red flowers, too.◎Iris festival and iris root-division lesson are took place. Access:90 min by bus from Nobeoka Station. By car, 120 min from Miyazaki Airport or Miyazaki Station.

Takachiho Gorge is a popular tourist destination in Miyazaki. Manai waterfall flow down into the gorge is illuminated in only summer. Though it's enough beautiful without lights, you can enjoy more dignified allure of the fall at night.

Access:Go to Miyajima-guchi Station of JR or Hiroden (streetcar), then walk to ferry terminal. There're two ferry terminals of Matsudai Kisen or JR, both of them go to Miyajima for 10 or 15 min. To Itsukushima Shrine, 10 min walk from Miyajima Port.



Miyajima of Hiroshima Prefecture, has large fireworks display every summer. The scene of fireworks behind the torii gives us goose bumps. I really want you all to see it actually ones in your lives.

A small pond made from the infiltrated water of Masyu Lake. Although it runs as deep as five meters, it's so clear that I can see the bed of the pond! I don't think it has an obvious address, please refer to the link.

On the northward way to Shiretoko on the National Route 334. This is summer, but when the snow thaws, it has more power! One of the most beautiful 100 waterfalls in Japan.
