A specialty of Okayama, 'Demikatsu-don' has pork cutlet on rice with demi-glace sauce. Nomura is famous as its birthplace. The thick, rich and sweet sauce is excellent with the crisp cutlet. I have no doubt that it's a delicious local specialty food in Okayama.◎It's called also as 'Domikatsu'. A specialty Demi-glace sauce cutlet on rice 800 yen.

The hamburg is made from 100% Chiya beef that is famous as expensive wagyu grown in Okayama. With miso and red wine demiglace sauce. Because it is very rare and called visionary beef, I was attracted to it. I could find the sweet flavor of high quality beef.

The café "Peach Farmer's Village" in Okayama's white peach farm is eye-catching with its house-style building that uses the hilly peach fields. "Momo-chan white peach milk shaved ice" is the farm character Momo-chan. It's cute no matter how you look at it. Top with peach syrup or milk syrup as you like. They also have pizza and drinks. The terrace seats also include dogs.

Tokujo Nigiri (a set of 10 nigiri-zushi of deluxe seafood) for Okayama's specialties such as mamakari and hira. I really enjoyed the tastes I ate for the first time together with a sea urchin and a prawn. A miso-soup of yellow chive, an Okayama's specialty was also good.

Okayama's fruit is delicious as it is, but you can eat it in such a stylish parfait! Its sponge cake in it is also delicious. The owner was a pupil of a famous pastry chef Hironobu Tsujiguchi.◎Okayama Seasonal Parfait (spring-summer) 880yen. There's a parking space in front of the shop.

I was surprised and did a bubble take when I found the two storied London bus at the West Bypass! This genuine London bus was shipped and renovated to a cafe. The bus itself and also the interior have an atmosphere of antique, and photogenic!◎The 180th National Road (West Bypass). 15min by car from Okayama Station.
