Address:Nihonodori Naka-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa

Nihon Odori Avenue connects Yokohama Park and Zou-no hana Park. Sitting on the sidewalk café among the European retro avenue and buildings, you can enjoy the beautiful townscape. I want to go around and come back again to see the different scenes of day and night, the avenue is worth doing like that.◎Access: right in front of Nihon Odori Station of Minatomirai Line. Or, 7 minutes walk from Kannai Station Of JR & subway. Parking: toll parking lot

Kamakura Komachi-dori, where you can enjoy a day at a general store, eating out, etc. I found a strange display at a souvenir shop, so I took a picture.

Among the stations of Enoshima Electric Railway, Kamakura Kouko-mae St. is the nearest to the sea. The tasteful scene is often used for location shoots, and has a retro mood, somehow.

4

Address:Sengokuhara Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa

Access:30 min by bus from Hakone Yumoto Station to Sengoku Kogen.

A pampas grass prairie on Sengokuhara Daiga-take Mountain tells us autumn has come in Hakone. Pampas grass surrounds National Route 75, and makes the 2km drive wonderful! At sunset, you can see the impressive pampas grass shining gold!

One of the popular tourist spots 'Yokohama Red Bricks Warehouse'. Of course, it’s a nice spot for shopping and eating you can meet in only Yokohama. And you can also enjoy the beautiful contrast of tiles and bricks against the blue sea, elaborate designs and historical colors that exceed the functions of warehouse.

Popular as a destination for the sightseeing bus tour, it's an international passenger terminal. Just as the nickname 'Whale's Back', its roof top with the unique curves and geometric forms, commands the special view. There're always people who take pictures of the sea over the wood deck and Yokohama all day.

180 years old wisteria tree. It was named 'wisteria of admiration' because the Emperor Taisho admired its beauty when he was the Crown Prince. The best season to see is from late in April to early in May.

Tenkei-san Gyokuhoji Temple (byname: Gohyaku-Rakan) was built by a vassal of Hojo Family. The main temple has, relatively small, 25-60cm tall, 526 Rakan statues with various faces. The scene of the temple filled up with the statues is really overwhelming!◎Access: From Odawara Station, take Daiyuzan Line to Gohyaku-Rakan Station. Easy access from there.

5000 hydrangea trees are planted along the waterways. Large flowered hydrangeas are seen beautifully with the green of rice plants, and many people come to walk around in early summer.

Many people come to see the sight of a Hakone Tozan train climbing the steep slopes through the hydrangeas planted very close to the railroads during June and July. At night, you can ride on a train named Ojisai-go going slowly in the illuminated hydrangeas.
