In the cool air of the early morning in late autumn. Can you find the beauty of the natural garden and how you should be? It's not bad to look for something 'lovely', but let's stretch your back at a simple place once in a while.◎A famous picture of Daruma and a ceiling picture of Dragon are also interesting. Visiting in early morning, you can see them without congestion.

Togetsu-kyo Bridge
3 ReviewAddress:Arashiyama Ukyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto

In the cool air of the autumn early morning, walking on the bridge shining gold by the sun makes you feel going to the moon just like the bridge name. I think morning may be the best time for Kyoto's history.◎This place became the stage of many works such as 'The Makioka Sisters' by Jyunichiro Tanizaki, and a samurai drama 'Mortal Shigotonin'. There're a few people and it's easy to take pictures in the early morning.

Yusaitei
3 ReviewAddress:6 Arashiyama, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto, Japan
Access:10 min walk, from Arashiyama Station

A new spot, Yumeyu-tei, which was opened to the public last year. It is a spot where a dyeing workshop and a tea hermitage are fused by renovating a 150-year-old Meiji era building. The room where Yasunari Kawabata was active as a writer and the Japanese-style room with nice round windows. It is full of attractions such as the spectacular terrace where the Katsura River flows in front of you. A fantastic space where the autumn leaves seen from the round window are reflected on the black-painted desk. It is a photo spot with a superb view.

Atago Shrine
2 ReviewAddress:1 Saga Atago-cho Ukyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto

It's said, the visiting the shrine from the night of 7/31 to the morning of 8/1 equals to the divine grace for 1000days-visiting. Many visitors climb the 4km mountain path through the night. The talisman of '火迺要慎 (Hinoyo'ujin') is sold only here.◎A main shrine of 900 Atago shrines all over Japan. It's located on the top of Atago Mountain which is the highest in the city. On the 900m way to the shrine, there're no bathroom nor vending machine for beverage, you need to prepare for mountain climbing.

Otaimatsu' had originally divined the good or bad harvest of rice. 7 meters tall three torches come into flames and lighten the spring night sky. You can see it so close as to be showered with sparks!◎Otaimatsu' is held on 3/15 every year and starts around 20:00. On the same day, 'Nehan-e' (15:00~) and 'Saga Dainenbutsu-kyogen' (15:30~) are also carried out. You can see them for free.
