Making a big impact! A sushi restaurant at the Expo that looks toward the future EARTH MART
Founder Jiro Ono of Sukiyabashi Jiro welcomes you at a virtual sushi restaurant. Combining master sushi craftsmanship with food technology, this future sushi is made using farmed and selectively bred fish, even though the chef traditionally only uses wild-caught fish. The floating sushi displayed are actual pieces crafted by Ono himself—truly a dreamlike experience you'd want to savor in a single bite.

Upon entering, you are greeted by a theater. As you savor the happiness of food, the doors open to guide you into an imaginative supermarket. This exhibit invites you to reset what you’ve taken for granted and explore new ways of eating through various interactive experiences. The "Cart of Life" displays the amount of food an average Japanese person consumes over about ten years. A giant egg sculpture representing a lifetime’s worth of eggs is also a popular photo spot!
