As many as 1,000 weeping cherry trees are in bloom at Mt. Takami in Higashiyoshino, Nara. A minibus will take you to the top of the mountain. If you take a breathless climb up the long stairs to the observatory at the top, you will see a magnificent weeping cherry tree in front of you.
