Like A Garden Gods Playing. Summer Asahi-dake Mountains With Blooming Alpine PlantsMt. Asahidake

The highest mountain in Hokkaido, Asahi-dake. There's a waking path around the pond, and the mountain is beautifully reflected in the water surface. During spring and summer, alpine plants blooms all over the sight, and in autumn, leaves turn pure red. You can enjoy impressive beautiful scenery.

The Earliest Fall Foliage In Japan! Dynamic Mt. Asahidake Dyed In Autumn ColorMt. Asahidake

Taisetsuzan Mountain Range is famous for the earliest fall foliage in Japan. You can see that autumn mountain scenery easily by rope way. Around Sugatami-no Ike Pond many tourists visit is beautiful, and I found the wonderful fall foliage stretch below when I went a little way further to Susoai-daira Plateau!◎The ropeway had stopped service for a while because of the earthquake in 2018, but it reopened. The parking area is available around the rope way station at the foot of the mountain. The shuttle bus 'Ideyu-go' leaving Asahikawa Station via Asahikawa Airport is also convenient. You should bring telephoto lens to take pictures.

Sun Pillar And Skavla At Winter Asahi-dake MountainMt. Asahidake

I could see the sun pillar and skavla (wavy pattern on the snow) made by strong winds on sunny day at Asahi-dake Mountain. I was moved with the nature arts of winter.
