Beautiful weeping cherry tree (Shidare Zakura) standing on the white sands of Hojo Garden of Kodai-ji Temple. We can see the beauty of Japan and tasteful atmosphere of Kyoto. The admission fee is 600 yen. It would be illuminated in that season.

Since the late Edo era, Kodai-ji Temple's weeping cherry blossom has become famous, and this is fourth tree. Many people wait in a line to take pictures of cherry blossom through Katō Window, so we are restricted to take pictures at most two.

Koudai-ji Temple's autumn illuminations. Red colored leaves reflected on Garyochi pond is like an art. Koudai-ji Temple was built by Nene, a wife of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, to repose of his soul. In the precincts, there is a Japanese tea room that is famous in connection with Sen no Rikyu.
