Kifune Shrine changes its appearance in each season. From spring to summer, you can see the lively scenery of fresh green.

Though it's sometimes terribly hot in Kyoto, the sensory temperature becomes cooler when you enter into Kifune Shrine with lush greens. It's located in such a rich nature. Its fortune-telling slip, that the letters appear on the water, is also attractive.

This famous spiritual power spot has beautiful contrast of shining green maple leaves and red ornaments! The murmur of a stream along the road to the inner shrine sounds even cool. It's better for you to go bus stop at Kifunegushi Station with enough time, because the bus gets crowded.

In spring, summer, autumn and winter, both day and night, even however the weather is, this shrine is always beautiful! Like this pic, they sometimes have light-up events! When you visit, you can experience a water-fortunetelling, too. ◎From Kibune Station of Eizan Railway, a bus is available for 160 yen.

Kifune Shrine is located inner place of mountains, surrounded with a river and woods, it's full of divine atmosphere like an another world. I think something good will be happened to me. I visited here in autumn, so I could see the beautiful autumn colored leaves, and maple leaf-shaped Ema (votive piece of wood).

I visited Kifune Shrine to see its snow-covered scenery in the early morning. There're a few people, and I could have this beautiful scene all to my self, which was a gorgeous time. I walked from the station because there're no bus services in the early morning though, the snowy scenery on the way was also beautiful.◎Access: Take Kyoto Bus from Kifuneguchi Station of Eizan Railway to Kifune.
