At the Australia Pavilion, children attending international schools in Japan can challenge themselves with the game "Keepy Uppy," where the goal is to keep a ball afloat without dropping it! The pavilion also offers a wide variety of cute souvenirs and gifts, as well as a café. On this special day, the classic Lamington cake turns blue! The Australia Pavilion plans to host many more events in the future.

The venue showcased high-quality, famous Queensland products from 11 companies. A special lunch course was served in the venue, showcasing dishes made with Queensland ingredients. A talk session was also held, featuring Iron Chef Hiroyuki Sakai, a legendary figure in the Japanese culinary world, and others, who spoke about the charms of Queensland, filling the venue with an Australian atmosphere.

Under the theme “Let’s Cook Steak at Home,” culinary expert Mami Imai gave a live demonstration on how to cook a delicious steak at home. The sizzling steak was shown on the stage screen, accompanied by the mouthwatering aroma of grilled beef filling the venue. Visitors were treated to free samples of Aussie beef steak, rich HAKKO sauce, and a tangy plum sauce, making the event a great success.

The Minister is a ranch owner himself. He is working to spread the word about stress-free cattle raised in rich natural land, and electricity used on his ranch is supplied by solar panels. He runs his ranch with environmentally friendly practices. Because his ranch is surrounded by nature, he keeps a close eye on it to prevent wild crocodiles from appearing to prey on his cattle.
