Todowara is a place called 'the end of the world' because of the scenery of dead trees eroded by the sea. The scenery changes with the tide, and specially, the reflections on the calm sea in early morning was so amazing that I associated with the famous Uyuni Salt Lake! In winter, you can enjoy walking on the frozen surface while watching the horizon.

How to get there
By car, 140 min from Kushiro city, 50 min from Nakashibetsu Airport. Parking area is available.
