According to one theory, this shrine enshrined Toyotama-hime who is a grandmother of the first Japanese Emperor Kammu, and known as a god for an easy delivery of baby. The scenery from the shrine is nice and cats living in Ogi-jima Island will give you a balm.◎A small hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Whenever you visit, cats are napping here. You can arrive the shrine eventually when you walk around the Ogi Island without searching for, because there're some signboards all over the community.

A tourist spot Yashima is located only 20 min by car from the center part of Takamatsu. From the mountain top observatory, you can see the great view of red autumn colors and blue Seto Inland Sea at the same time.◎Yashima is famous for the flat mountain ridge. Access: Yashima Drive Way (it became free road from July in 2017) and toll parking lot is available.

There's an observatory standing alone in the lush greens you finally arrive after 15 or 20 minutes mountain-walking. You can enjoy seeing the beautiful calm Seto Inland Sea with some ferry boats coming and going without any interruption by other people.◎Access: about a few hundred meters this side of Ogijima Lighthouse, from a sign 'ジイの穴 (Jii no ana) you need to climb about 20 min. Though the roads and steps are equipped, there're some narrow paths hard to walk.

3 minutes walk from the port, a white sandy beach spreads like an arch. And at its edge, there's a romantic and scenic breakwater called 'Koibito Misaki (Lovers Cape)'. You can enjoy the scenery of Seto Inland Sea to your heart content without any obstructions.◎Access: 3 minutes walk to the north from the port. It could be crowded in summer for it's also a beach for swimming.

Ryuo Park located in Ryuman Pond is well-known as a cherry blossom viewing spot. Lined with stone lanterns, a passage with cherry blossom tunnel is like floating on the pond. You can see very beautiful scenery that you can't expect from outside the pond.◎Parking area is near the entrance of the passage.
