Bicchu Matsuyama Castle can be folded in magnificent sea of clouds on autumn day with big difference in temperature. From an observatory located a neighboring mountain, you can see its existing castle tower, which has been protected for hundreds of years, floating in the sea of clouds.◎Bicchu Matsuyama Castle Observatory is located at the mountain next to the castle. I went there by car, but you can use also 'Unkai Taxi' from Bicchu-takahasi Station in this season (resavation only).

Iwakuni-jo Castle, one of the 100 best castles in Japan, stands on a 200-meter mountain and has Nishiki River, which Kintai-kyo Bridge across, as a natural outer moat. The view from the castle tower is really great and unique for a mountain castle. Kintai-kyo Bridge, a castle town, and in the distance, Miyajima, islands of Seto Inland Sea and Shikoku, you can overlook from here.

I found a big castle in the north of Fukuyama Station and then I got off a train immediately. Luckily, it was in the season of full blooming cherries and I could take some photos.
