Tottori Sand Dunes in Tottori Prefecture. It is a tourist attraction that represents Tottori! It's like entering a different world with a sandy landscape all around. The highlight is the "Horse back" shaved like a wall. You can see the Sea of Japan from the top! And the huge puddle under the back of the horse is an "oasis"! It is rare for an oasis to appear in dunes that do not easily absorb water.

You can enjoy the hot springs while watching the spectacular view from the guest room with a semi-open-air hot spring bath that was just renewed this year. I could see the torii gate of the famous Itsukushima Shrine from the room. All the dishes are delicious, and you can enjoy Miyajima-san's seafood and mountain food. Miyajima has different views at low tide and high tide, so Kinsuikan is highly recommended for staying and enjoying.

Among other world heritages, Iwami Ginzan Silver Mind is inconspicuous at first sight. But, if you want to see the attractions, Ookubo Mabu (a mine gate) Tour must be better! Such as holes with traces of digging and remains like terrace, you can see the scenes in Edo Period (between the 16-17th centuries) !◎The tour entries need to reserve beforehand, and meet at Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Center, then move to Ookubomabu by bus and on foot. Though you need to walk for a while, you can feel like to be a archaeologist. By the way, you can look Ryugenji Mabu without taking part in the tours.

You can enjoy walking around Kikuya Yokocho Street and Horiuchi Area in the fragrance of summer orange.◎The address I posted is Kikuya Yokocho Street in the first pic though, you can enjoy walking and shopping at old town in larger area. The second and third pics are Horiuchi Area. As for access, you can use the bus following a circular route from JR Hagi Station. By your own car, the parking area is available.

Kasaoka Bay Farm in Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture. This is a roadside station where you can find local agricultural products and fresh fish, but you can also enjoy various flower fields depending on the season! Daisen-ji Temple is famous for its lighting of Japanese umbrellas. Colorful umbrellas are lit up beautifully, and a model poses with them. Take pictures from its front to get the line of full umbrellas.◎Illumination date: 8/10-13, 8/24-26, 9/22-24. You need to buy a ticket. You can use single-pod but can't use tripod.
