At Iwaguni of Yamaguchi pref, Kintai-kyo Bridge is a fine wooden architecture and a popular tourist attraction. At the event held in autumn, they make bonfires by the bridge. The flickering flames and the Kintai-kyo Bridge produce the fantastic scene.

Access:Go to Miyajima-guchi Station of JR or Hiroden (streetcar), then walk to ferry terminal. There're two ferry terminals of Matsudai Kisen or JR, both of them go to Miyajima for 10 or 15 min. To Itsukushima Shrine, 10 min walk from Miyajima Port.



Itsukushima Shrine on the quiet autumn evening which I had wanted to take pictures of. The weather was perfect, I could get the silhouette with good timing.

A huge ginko tree at Bodai-ji Temple in Nagi-cho, a north part of Okayama pref. You would be overwhelmed with the powerful energy for life of the tree estimated to be over 900 years old.

Opened in the early Edo era, the old Shizutani School is designated as a special historic site. In autumn, two huge trees show the beautiful colors of red and yellow.
