Hitachi Seaside Park is very large! The blue flowers expanding like ocean at Nemophila's Hill, and even the tulips blooming between the trees are wonderful! Both walking and cycling could be nice, please enjoy these flowers thoroughly.◎Access: take train to Katsuta Station, then you can go to the park by bus or car. By the way, Nemophila's Hill is so crowded that it's difficult to take pictures without people. And, this park is very large, so you can rent a bicycle if you don't have much time.

Miharu Takizakura is a huge tree over 1000 years old, and has put up with even Tohoku earthquake. Looking up from under the tree, you must be impressed with the cherry blossoms falling down like waterfalls. (Takizakura means Waterfall Cherry Blossom.) Its illumination is also glamourous!◎For the most famous and popular isolated cherry blossom tree, many people visit here. Even in 2011 after Tohoku earthquake, the parking area was crowed from the early morning. To avoid the congestion, you should visit as early as you can. If you can't, you must leave with enough time.

Kenrokuen is a representative of the gardens formed in Edo Period (around 1600-1800), and one of the three best Japanese gardens the same as Korakuen in Okayama and Kairakuen in Ibaraki.
