Citizen volunteers make colorful flower carpet using petals grown in Hokkaido such as rose and carnation.◎Since this year, Photo View Spot has put to over look the flower carpet. Place: Kitasanjo Square (bynane: Akapura). Event date: 2018, 6/21-24. Illumination hours: 18:00-21:00. The last day on 24th, it opens till 16:30, and you can walk on the flower carpet during Free Walking 16:30-16:45.

Flower Festival Commemorative Park has beautiful flowers all around the year, but I think the rose festival in spring is the most amazing. For it's the biggest scale in Tokai Region, please visit here!◎Access: 5 min by car from Kanimitake IC of Tokai Kanjo Speedway. Rose Festival is opened till 6/17. On holidays during the rose festival, it'll be very crowded, and there's no extra parking area, so please try to visit in early morning or evening to avoid the traffic jam.

Shikishima Park Rose Garden has various exhibition of rose, such as flower bed, English style and standard ones. Some tour buses come from inside and outside Gunma Prefecture, and people from all over the world are fascinated with the beautiful roses.◎No regular holidays. Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 Access: 20 min by bus from JR Maebashi Station (bound for Midorigaoka-cho, Kawahara-cho), and get off at 'Rojin Center', then 1 min walk. Hirakata Park is an amusement park located in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture. It is held from 7 to 9 in the morning from 5/12 to 21. Early morning rose garden walk day. For two hours in the morning, when the roses are in full bloom, you can relax and enjoy the roses until the amusement park opens. The Ferris wheel, roller coaster, merry-go-round and rose collaboration are very fairy-tale-like.

Flower Lagoon in LAGUNASIA always has beautiful seasonal flowers. In this season, roses are beautiful. Bouquets floating on the water, floor of rose, and arch with illumination, are really beautiful. Roses will be over till 5/26, then hydrangeas will start from 6/8. A discount Star-Light Ticket is available from 4:00 p.m.

Utsubo Park is a relaxing spot in a town of Osaka. We can see may kinds of roses in its best season. The bronze statue looks like wearing clothes is interesting. There're many benches good for taking a rest.

The first spring rose festival after changing from the Heisei to the Reiwa Era. We don't need any entrance fees! The garden has various roses and is filled up with the fragrances. The best season will be the middle of May, and rose festival will be held till the end of May. The shuttle bus is available during this month. It's better to visit here on weekdays than weekends.
