Rose Garden in Takamatsu Port is not so big, but the location commanding Seto Inland Sea and a big arch of pink rose are very photogenic!◎The best season of roses are from the middle of May to the beginning of June. No admission fee.

Flower Festival Commemorative Park has beautiful flowers all around the year, but I think the rose festival in spring is the most amazing. For it's the biggest scale in Tokai Region, please visit here!◎Access: 5 min by car from Kanimitake IC of Tokai Kanjo Speedway. Rose Festival is opened till 6/17. On holidays during the rose festival, it'll be very crowded, and there's no extra parking area, so please try to visit in early morning or evening to avoid the traffic jam.

Shikishima Park Rose Garden has various exhibition of rose, such as flower bed, English style and standard ones. Some tour buses come from inside and outside Gunma Prefecture, and people from all over the world are fascinated with the beautiful roses.◎No regular holidays. Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 Access: 20 min by bus from JR Maebashi Station (bound for Midorigaoka-cho, Kawahara-cho), and get off at 'Rojin Center', then 1 min walk. 2018 is a 5th time of Flower Carpet. Citizen volunteers make colorful flower carpet using petals grown in Hokkaido such as rose and carnation.◎Since this year, Photo View Spot has put to over look the flower carpet. Place: Kitasanjo Square (bynane: Akapura). Event date: 2018, 6/21-24. Illumination hours: 18:00-21:00. The last day on 24th, it opens till 16:30, and you can walk on the flower carpet during Free Walking 16:30-16:45.
