How to get there

Iwakuni-jo Castle, one of the 100 best castles in Japan, stands on a 200-meter mountain and has Nishiki River, which Kintai-kyo Bridge across, as a natural outer moat. The view from the castle tower is really great and unique for a mountain castle. Kintai-kyo Bridge, a castle town, and in the distance, Miyajima, islands of Seto Inland Sea and Shikoku, you can overlook from here.

Ruriko-ji Temple is in Yamaguchi City, and the five-storied pagoda is its symbol. This is counted among the three most beautiful pagodas in Japan, and thought highly as a national treasure.
