As expected, it is a very quaint cafe with an old folk house because it is located in Arashiyama. It was a thatched-roof house with a garden, and this time I had it relaxing under the eaves. A cafe produced by Michelin-starred Kikunoi. They're still lined up. I took a number ticket and went to Maruyama Park to view the cherry blossoms. Called after 40 minutes. A long-awaited strawberry parfait. A parfait with lots of strawberries inside. Some of the parfaits include rich milk ice cream made with milk that has been slowly boiled in half. You can also see the Japanese garden.

A strawberry parfait where you can eat and compare two colors of strawberries, and an adult chocolate tiramisu parfait with a modest sweetness. Kazari-kan is the new taste Japanese sweet. Based on a traditional azuki-bean sweet 'yokan', they match excellently with herbs and fruits that seem to be out of keeping with yokan. Sweets with the seasonal foodstuffs of Kyoto such as a winter 'yuzu' citron are all delicious and I think only such a long established shop could make them!

Founded in 1923. Mitarashi dango, which is grilled until golden brown and coated in a secret sauce, is said to have its origins in molded bubbles gushing out of the Mitarashi Pond inside Shimogamo Shrine and dedicated to a shrine to pray for good health. The five dumplings on a skewer are separated from one another to form the head, representing the five bodies. It's a popular restaurant with long lines, so we recommend visiting early in the morning.

This is an annual parfait that I eat around this time every year! How many packs of Amaou? This is actually bigger and heavier than I imagined. The fruit parfait from the famous fruit shop is definitely delicious! An amazing parfait with individual pieces of Amaou sticking together. It's a whopping 30cm tall.
