Seto Inland Sea and the townscape of Kan'onji are very moving scenery. A reward which comes after climbing up the mountain.◎Walk: 40 min from the parking lot of the foot of the mountain. The road is paved in the first half, but after that, it a mountain path. And there're steep steps at the end near the top. Car: you can access to the shrine by car from Fudo Waterfall.

Chichibugahama Beach in Mitoyo, Kagawa. It's called as Japanese Uyuni Salt Lake. We aimed for 30-minutes magic hour when the low tide and the sunset happen at the same time. It's really amazing scenery! I think I want to come again soon!

If you come to Shodoshima, this popular spot is a must-visit. A mysterious sand road that appears twice a day at low tide. Surrounded by the sea on both sides of the sand road, it is very open and beautiful. I think it's a place where everyone from young people to families can enjoy. It is a recommended spot with good access because it is close to Tonosho Port and has a parking lot.

Shimpaku is a kind of juniper and popular for Japanese 'Bonsai'. At Hosho-in Temple, this sacred tree is said to be 1500 years old and the only Shimpaku that designated as a special natural monument. The sand beach appearing by the tidal range is called Angel Road, and it's said that lovers who cross this road by holding hands can become happy. About 15 minutes walk from the port. You have to climb a hill to get there, so if you have luggage, it is recommended to ask for a pick-up service. The time is fixed, so please check it. The hotel is located on a hill, so the views are spectacular.

One of the highlights of the Shikoku Aquarium is the light production inside the facility. The fantastic light production is like an extraordinary space. According to one theory, this shrine enshrined Toyotama-hime who is a grandmother of the first Japanese Emperor Kammu, and known as a god for an easy delivery of baby. The scenery from the shrine is nice and cats living in Ogi-jima Island will give you a balm.◎A small hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Whenever you visit, cats are napping here. You can arrive the shrine eventually when you walk around the Ogi Island without searching for, because there're some signboards all over the community.

Sky Aquarium Sorakin in the Gold Tower, right near the Shikoku Aquarium in Kagawa Prefecture. The production of goldfish, mirrors, and disco balls is based on the image of a kaleidoscope. You can see the best night view of Kagawa Prefecture and the fireworks above the Seto Inland Sea at the same time from Shishi-no Reigan Observatory. It can command the evening glow before the fireworks, and after that, the great night view of Takamatsu. It's gorgeous spot, isn't it?◎5 min walk from Yashima Mountain Top Parking Area. The parking area requires 300 yen. The Yashima Dive Way was toll road but now it's free. You should except for the traffic jam after the firework.

Nio Dragon Festival' is hold to pray for rain in Mitoyo city, Kagawa Prefecture. A huge dragon made of straw and bamboo , which is as ling as 35m and weights 2t, is carried by 200 people. Then, the other people with buckets and water guns throw water from the both sides of the street. It's an exciting summer festival.◎Date & Time: 8/5, water throwing is 20:00~. You need to wear you can get wet and bring buckets, water guns and so on. There're some food strolls.

Located at Shodoshima Island, Nakayama Senmaida is one of the 100 most beautiful terraced rice field in Japan. Surrounded by the mountains in the island, the green and gold rice fields spreads like stairs, and it's a comfort scenery of old time in Japan. I thought it beautiful for the first time in my life. Mt.Shiude is a popular spot for the whole view of Setouchi. In spring, it gets crowded most in a year. Along the slopes of the mountain, numberless cherry trees are in full bloom proudly. And with the panorama of Setouchi, I want to burn the scenery into my eyes!◎A traffic jam is caused for parking lots around the mountain top. Early in the morning could be better. ※Some people climb up on foot from the bottom.

Shami-jima was once an isolated island. Nakanda Beach is a scenic spot to view Seto Inland Sea and Seto Ohashi Bridge. Even one big tree and a bench are very photogenic. Shiratori Shrine in Kagawa Prefecture. There are more than 1,000 colorful windmills on display. Now the red and white windmill is decorated with New Year's specifications. It is said that the wish is to "may things turn in a good direction with a good wind blowing".

The family managing here had reclaimed the hill and planted moss pink (shibazakura) for a long time, and opened this private garden. You can see the beautiful world with pink carpets around the small hill. In 2018, 5 years has passed since it opened, and they're under development even now!◎Opening Date in 2018: from April till the Golden Week Holidays in May. Open with the sun, close at 17:30. Entrance fee 200 yen (free for children under 12 years old). Free parking area is available. You can enter with pets.
