Mt.Shiude is a popular spot for the whole view of Setouchi. In spring, it gets crowded most in a year. Along the slopes of the mountain, numberless cherry trees are in full bloom proudly. Early in the morning could be better. ※Some people climb up on foot from the bottom.

Nio Dragon Festival' is hold to pray for rain in Mitoyo city, Kagawa Prefecture. A huge dragon made of straw and bamboo , which is as ling as 35m and weights 2t, is carried by 200 people. Then, the other people with buckets and water guns throw water from the both sides of the street. It's an exciting summer festival.◎Date & Time: 8/5, water throwing is 20:00~. You need to wear you can get wet and bring buckets, water guns and so on. There're some food strolls.
It's said to be the right beach where Urashima Taro helped a bullied turtle appearing in a fairy tale. A small island and twilight scenery are nice and have a mysterious atmosphere.
They enshrine the god for children's health and growth. Floating 250m from the seashore on the Stouchi Sea, it's gate is opened only once a year. Many people all over Japan visit this big event to pray for the children's good health.

Fudo Waterfall in Mitoyo City is one of the 100 Best Scenery In Kagawa, and you can enjoy cherry blossom in spring and fall foliage in autumn. Togawa Dam Park is selected as one of the 100 best scenery in Kagawa Prefecture. In spring, the cherry blossoms make a stunning view of pink forest.
