I visited here for my interest in the history of Otaru, I could find the herring fishery in the old time was profitable very well. Though you need fee to Otaru Kihinkan, anyone can see these ceiling pictures for they're located at the entrance lobby. ◎To access here, Otaru Kihinkan is far from the city central, so you need to use car.
