1Chichibugahama Beach

Chichibugahama Beach is popular as a beautiful place for sunset viewing, and has a long shoal to the offshore. The reflecting scene on the water surface is like ' Salar de Uyuni' in Bolivia, since there's no wave in the shoal.◎The beach is about 1km long. Parking lot for more than 100 cars (it tolls in the season for swimming).

Chichibugahama Beach in Mitoyo, Kagawa. It's called as Japanese Uyuni Salt Lake. We aimed for 30-minutes magic hour when the low tide and the sunset happen at the same time. It's really amazing scenery! I think I want to come again soon!

Chichibuga-hama, located Mitoyo, Kagawa Prefecture, is a beach as long about 1 km. In the twilight, the gradations of the sky are reflected on the tide pools, and you can take mystical pictures like shadowgraphs.

2Flower Park Urashima

Flower Park Urashima, located at Mitoyo City which has the biggest production of marguerite in Japan, is a scenic spot you can enjoy both flowers and Seto Inland Sea. This year, I found the lovely heart shape made of pink marguerite flowers.◎Free parking area is available. No entrance fee. The best season to see is from the beginning of May to the the middle of May.

Flower Park Urashima is in Mitoyo which has many beautiful places. Marguerite in spring, and cosmos in autumn blooms here in front of the Seto Inland Sea. The collaboration of the sea and the flowers is really gorgeous!◎Best season is from the middle of October. In 2017, they will start to cut the cosmos on 10/30. Free parking lot is available.

The beautiful sight with a lot of white and pink marguerites seems a carpet made from cherry blossoms and snow. The view includes the Setouchi islands is a miracle and I felt affection of the local people from it. The best season is May.

3Asahiyama Shinrin Park

2000 cherry trees are the largest scale in Shikoku. They are planted to spread over the bridge and the roads, and from the observatory you can see the sea and mountains making a beautiful contrast. Here is the best spot of cherry blossom trees designed on purpose to be a picturesque scenery.

A park on the top of the Asahiyama mountain. You can get a 360-degree panoramic view of Mitoyo City and the sea of Setouchi.

4Mt. Shiude

Mt.Shiude is a well known spot for the sunning view of Seto Inland Sea. In rainy season, it becomes a best spot of viewing hydrangeas and makes superphotogenic scenery with the sea.◎There're many hydrangeas but my faovrite view can be seen from the parking lot.

Seen from the mountain, islands of Seto Inland Sea are beautiful so much. Mt.Shiude is a popular spot to view Setouchi, called 'beauty of the sea with many small islands'. The observatory on the mountain top is famous, but this observatory beside the parking lot is a photogenic special seat.◎I know, you want to go to the main observatory on the top first, but one beside the parking is also nice. Don’t miss it.

Mt.Shiude is a popular spot for the whole view of Setouchi. In spring, it gets crowded most in a year. Along the slopes of the mountain, numberless cherry trees are in full bloom proudly. And with the panorama of Setouchi, I want to burn the scenery into my eyes!◎A traffic jam is caused for parking lots around the mountain top. Early in the morning could be better. ※Some people climb up on foot from the bottom.

5Fudo Waterfall

Fudo Waterfall in Mitoyo City is one of the 100 Best Scenery In Kagawa, and you can enjoy cherry blossom in spring and fall foliage in autumn. It's located between Shippou Mountain that had a connection with Kobo Daishi (a great priest), so you can feel relaxed to see the water falls and autumn leaves together in this area with rich nature.◎Free parking lot is available. 20 min drive from Sanuki Toyonaka IC of Takamatsu Speed Way.

6Awashima Ocean Memorial Hall

It's a Japan's first school for sailor (closed in1987). A nostalgic pale green building is now a memorial hall with exhibitions such as ship models.◎No entrance fee. 3min walk from a port and it's a symbol of Awashima.

7Missing Post Office

Missing Post Office receive the letters written for yourselves in the future or someone you can't see any more. It's one of the art project, and exhibits the letters without addresses to be read by someone you don't know.◎5min walk from a port. It was used as a real post office. You can send a letter with no address and read exhibited letters here.

8Tsushima-no miya Station

I think fans of trains also are inpatient for the event. According to the Tsushima Shrine festival once a year, this rare station 'Tsushima no miya' opens for only two days.

9Tagawa Dam Park

Togawa Dam Park is selected as one of the 100 best scenery in Kagawa Prefecture. In spring, the cherry blossoms make a stunning view of pink forest. And the esplanades are equipped, you can walk under the cherry blossom tunnel!◎Best season of cherry blossoms is from the end of March to the beginning of April. They have illumination event, too. A Road Station 'Takarada-no Sato Saita' and onsen facility are also inside the park.

10Nio Dragon Festival

Nio Dragon Festival' is hold to pray for rain in Mitoyo city, Kagawa Prefecture. A huge dragon made of straw and bamboo , which is as ling as 35m and weights 2t, is carried by 200 people. Then, the other people with buckets and water guns throw water from the both sides of the street. It's an exciting summer festival.◎Date & Time: 8/5, water throwing is 20:00~. You need to wear you can get wet and bring buckets, water guns and so on. There're some food strolls.
