HUIS TEN BOSCH is a theme park which models on Holland in the middle ages. The King Of Lights illumination has as many as 13 million lambs, which is the biggest number of lamps! In this season, it's held from 11/3 (2017) to 5/6 (2018).

Japan's southernmost island, Hateruma has less light obstacle, so it's suitable for stellar observation! You can see the thick part of the Milky Way, that is to say the center of the Galaxy, much better than those in Honshu region. If the season is good, you can see the Southern Cross, too!◎To Hateruma Island, access by ferry. Bring medicine for motion sickness by yourselves. Stellar Observation Tower's party is good (you need a car). The lights of the Milky Way is slight, you may not be able to see like the first pic. Remember, the Milky Way is seen at the left of the Scorpion. I took these pics near the southernmost stone monument, but be careful no to lose your way because there's no signs!

A photographer who lives in Ishigaki Island took the best shots. It rained on the day and I was worried about what would happen for a while, but it was amazing to see the Milky Way and the starry sky beautifully!! I want to see The shooting location was decided by the photographer taking into consideration the weather on the day!

I was able to see a truly beautiful sunset at Oita Prefecture's Matama Beach, which is rumored to be the best spot for sunset views in Japan. At the moment when the sun goes down, everyone who watches them sighs in unison! A beautiful sunset early in the new year. I hope this year will be peaceful. . I am posting this with my best wishes.

Like steps climbing up from the seashore, Hamanoura Terraced Rice Field is formed on the mountain slope. The scenery of the evening sun lightening the field is very visionary. During the end of April to the beginning of May, the rice fields draw water, and the sun comes to the center. Many people visit to see this scenery.◎For the parking area gets crowded during the best season, so you should arrive earlier if you want to see the evening sun.

The nearest island from Ishigaki is Taketomi. Located in the west side of the island, West Pier (Nishi Sambashi) is a popular spot to see the beautiful sunset! Only people who stay in the island can see this ever-changing scenery.◎To go to Taketomi Island to Ishigaki Port (Terminal for isolated islands), use An'ei Kanko's reguler express ferry /10~15min /round-trip 1150yen

At the mountainside located at 400 meters above sea level, there's a wonderful contrast of red cluster amaryllis and shinning gold ears of rice. I was fascinated with the original scenery of Japan so much.◎50 min by car from Haki IC. A bathroom is prepared.

Tsuzura Tanada (terraced rice fields) located in Ukiha, Fukuoka Prefecture. You can see the cluster amaryllis bloom like a fringe around the rice fields! Also the white one can be found in places.

The most beautiful beach in the East under the huge sky without any obstructions. The nice view of the bridge connecting Kurima-jima Island is also attractive. As the sun shines strongly, the beautiful color of the water appears. But in the off-season, you can enjoy beach combing.

Kabira Bay in Ishigaki Island shows us various color of the sea changes by the tide and weather. Emerald green sometimes, and gradation of pale and gentle blue sometimes, it has different scenery every time I visit. I really want you all to see it!

Nabegataki Fall is a rare waterfall we can walk its reverse. Though it's not so big, we can see it very close and that much volume of water is powerful! It has become famous since it was used for the location of TV commercial.

Horseback riding experience while gazing at Aso's wilderness. I was healed by the fluttering footsteps. Since it is a guide horse, even first-timers and children could ride the horse with peace of mind. It is closed from December to February and business hours are from 9:00 to 4:00. You can get on as soon as you go, so you can get on with almost no reservations or waiting. The fee is 1500 yen per person for a 5-minute course. It is recommended because you can take a commemorative photo or take a video while riding.

Here's a very photogenic spot of a white torii arch which stands in front of husband-and-wife rocks and looks beautiful with the blue sky and the sea. The time of evening glow is nice of course, if you visit around noon, the tide is not low and we can see the beautiful figure standing on the sea.

Wisteria becomes full bloom around Golden Week Holidays in May at Kawachi Fuji Garden. The biggest highlight is this wisteria tunnel. By the way, all of the wisteria flowers are beautiful.

Mt.Yufu-dake is a symbol of Yufuin. From now to early spring, it'll be nice to view it from a bank along Oita River flowing in the center of the town. The scenery of cherry blossoms that begin to bloom after canola flowers is famous as a location of TV dramas. You can enjoy the early spring in Kyushu Region.

Hot spring and clear water well up from the bottom of Lake Kinrin-ko. In the morning of cold day in winter, fantastic mist form up because of the deference in temperatures of those. It's the special scenery that we can see only when some conditions are satisfied, such as a big difference in temperatures between day and night, and a sunny day with no winds.

In Tsushima, an unique plant called Chinese Fringetree becomes its best during the Golden Week Holidays, around beginning of May. The slopes in Waniura area becomes white, ant it looks like snowscape! You can enjoy the unique flower viewing in Tsushima.◎Because Tsushima is a big island, Waniura area is relatively near from Hitakatsu Port, but Tsushima Airport and Izuhara Port are farther than you expect. So, you need to inspect the transportation and the required time beforehand ( I took my car boarding on a ferry together). The Korea Observatory stands on the top of Chinese Fringetree Area (in the third pic), you may be able to see Pusan in Korea!
