At Miyagawa morning fair, the line catches our eyes here. Hida Takayama Pudding, that has won MONDE SELECTION, is offered as 'hot pudding' in only cold season. Warmed in hot water, it becomes melting, rich custard and caramel becomes savory… you must eat it even if you have to wait!

Only TORAYA's Gotemba branch limited yokan (sweet jellied bean), 'Shiki no Fuji' describes Mt.Fuji in four seasons by different colors, and it's exactly an art work shining like a crystal! 'Spring Mt.Fuji' I ate at the side café, had a little sweetness of Domyoji (grained glutinous rice) that was excellent with cold green tea. Mt.Fuji and cherry blossoms, may bring many lucks.

Michi-no-Eki (roadside rest areas all over Japan) is now travel destination! Aiken-no-Eki (roadside rest areas for dog lovers) has opened at Izukozen. Bali modern style dog park, foot bath, Café & Deli, shopping, pottery trial, you can enjoy and feel relaxed all day long.

The shop is choked up with a number of pottery, a good selection seen only in its source. An adjoining café uses the same plates as the goods. These simple pottery that can be excellent with any kinds of dishes, I recommend them for souvenirs.

TSUTAYA's bookstore in AEON MALL, which is right next to Nagoya Station. Since the top of the bookshelf is a mirror, it looks like the books are reflected in the mirror and continue to the ceiling. There is also Starbucks, so you can read a book with a cup of coffee and stay longer. You need to be careful, but you will be able to take pictures properly.

Born in Nagoya, known to the world, a modern ceramic maker Noritake produces this shop.　　Among the buildings, there's a space for a biotope and a grove seen attractive with the red tiles. The shop is filled with the seasonal ceramics and various goods, and the cafe & restaurant make you feel relaxed. You may meet some new things born from old or traditional ones.
