Photos taken on July 6th. The annual summer event 'Enmusubi Furin'. I wore Yukata, and came to Kawagoe on the first day of this event. Waking around the path of wind bells, and feeling the comfortable winds, I felt refreshed so much, though the weather forecast was rainy. You can see the beautiful scenery of green leaves and colorful wind bells.

Otori Shine is the birth place of Tori-no Ichi Festival that is hold at the Cock days (one of the twelve daily signs) of November. Many people visit the shrine for rakes that gather the good fortunes and money in the coming year. Energetic hand-clapping and shouting 'business success' make me feel that I can really gather the good fortunes!

Access:Soon, from Tochomae Station

7 / 22.23.24 The Tanabata Sky Lantern Festival is being held. Impressed by the lanterns that fly all at once. You can adjust the length to your liking by connecting with a thread. Above all, it's indoors so I'm happy that I don't have to worry about the weather. The main is the sky lantern, but there are many arcades and food stalls, so you can enjoy the festive mood. Scheduled to be held next month in Kobe and Kyoto.
Kawagoe Storehouse Town
2 ReviewAddress:15-7 Saiwai-cho, Kawagoe-shi, Saitama
Access:10 min walk from Honkawagoe Station. 15 min by car from Kagagoe IC.

As an autumn special thing, Kawagoe Festival has some large floats parade the streets of tasteful historical town. It's worth seeing in daytime, but the night becomes more exciting! When the floats meet each other, they display their showy lanterns.◎Though there're some toll parking area, they get very crowded every year. It's better to use public transportation such as JR, Toubu Tojo Line, or Seibu Shinjuku Line.

Access:20 min by bus from JR Sawara Station to Waterside Plants Botanical Garden, then 5 min walk. 70 min by car from Chiba city. Free parking area is available.

You can enjoy seeing irises in Sawara from a boat going in the park. 'Marriage Boat' is, in other words, Japanese June bride. I really long for a couple in a boat surrounded with many irises! ◎Parking area is available. During the Iris Festival, a shuttle bus from Sawara Station (please check the latest information). If you come by your car, Suigo Ayame Itako Garden is close from here, it'll be nice to make the rounds. Though you need to pay the admission fees and take bus from the nearest station, you can enjoy flowers enough, such as seeing from boats and walking in the large park, at Suigo Sawara Iris Garden.

On a day for Oharae in June, there was Chino-wa (a circle made of dry grass) used for an occasion. Surrounded with many greens, you can feel peace in your mind.
