Spots For Kimono

Yasaka Koshin-do Temple

8 Reviews

I wrote my wish on a colorful ball at Yasaka Koshin-do Temple in Kyoto. It's a nice place my heart leaps up just looking at them. Your Instagram must be able to get many likes!

Nanzen-ji Temple

17 Reviews

I visited Nanzenji Temple, a popular spot for autumn leaves, and Tenju-an Temple, which has two beautiful gardens, in kimono. The autumn leaves in the eastern garden were in full bloom, and it was a magnificent view that you could see forever while sitting on the porch. Another wonderful view that sighs is the autumn leaves in the south garden, which looks like a painting, cut out by the window frame of the Shoin. When I raised my face to buy a ticket at the entrance, I jumped into my eyes first and was fascinated.

Keage Incline

12 Reviews

Keage Incline has beautiful lush greens in summer. Also, you can see the wonderful scenery every season such as autumn colored leaves and cherry blossoms in spring. For the retro atmosphere, Japanese traditional outfits Kimono and Yukata are excellent with the scenery.

Spots for Wearing Dress

Sagano

7 Reviews

Bamboo Forest is a must-visit place in Arashiyama. Even in summer, you can feel the cool air in the early morning, and have an excellent morning walk.

Meiji Jingu Shrine

5 Reviews

Though Meiji Shrine is located near Harajuku Station, it's wrapped in a stillness and lush greens. When I visited here in the evening, the sun light came into the huge Torii Arch and showed the fantastic scenery.

Nabegataki Fall

11 Reviews

Nabegataki Fall is a rare waterfall we can walk its reverse. Though it's not so big, we can see it very close and that much volume of water is powerful! It has become famous since it was used for the location of TV commercial.

The gradation of the sky that is clearly reflected on the mirror-like surface of the water. Selected as one of Japan's top 100 sunsets, be sure to capture the ever-changing beautiful sunset with your camera! The point is to release the shutter when the water surface is not rippling and there is no wind.

Shodoshima Olive Park

6 Reviews

The location where you can feel the sea and the wind in Setouchi, which seems to be lost in a fairyland. There is also a broom rental space, and Shodoshima Olive Park is a place where you can use Kiki for Kiki's Takkyubin.

Mt. Tsurugi

5 Reviews

One of the 100 best mountains in Japan, and the second highest in the western Japan. The breathtaking scenery spreads on the mountain top located 1995m above sea level. Specially, the ridge named 'Jiro-gyu' you can see from the terrace is extremely beautiful.◎null

Higashi Chayagai District is the largest one of the three Chayagai Districts in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. There're beautiful houses with traditional wooden fences and red walls. And they're very photogenic with Japanese Kimono! You can also enjoy lunch and cafe at Higashi Chayagai.◎I recommend to use rental kimono shop and walk in Higashi Chayagai in Kimono. I rented kimono at 'Kokoyui' this time.
