Kiyomizu Temple in Kiyomizu, Kyoto. Speaking of the famous spots for autumn leaves in Kyoto, the place where the name always comes up. The day I visited was a weekend, and although there were many people, the site itself was large, so the flow of people was surprisingly smooth. The autumn leaves that decorate the stage of Kiyomizu and the area around the three-storied pagoda are so beautiful that it is a masterpiece. Illumination at night that is being held until 11/30. Also recommended because you can enjoy a different atmosphere from the daytime.

18 ReviewAddress:Nanzenji Fukuchi-cho Sakyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto
Access:10 min walk from Keage Station. 25 min by bus from Kyoto Station to Nanzenji Eikando, then 10 min walk.

I visited Nanzenji Temple, a popular spot for autumn leaves, and Tenju-an Temple, which has two beautiful gardens, in kimono. The autumn leaves in the eastern garden were in full bloom, and it was a magnificent view that you could see forever while sitting on the porch. Another wonderful view that sighs is the autumn leaves in the south garden, which looks like a painting, cut out by the window frame of the Shoin. When I raised my face to buy a ticket at the entrance, I jumped into my eyes first and was fascinated.

A scenic spot of autumn leaves and deer. I went there for the first time, but there are more deer than I imagined. I was surprised to walk normally on the general road. I thought he was greeting me by shaking his head up and down, but it seems that it means give me deer rice crackers. I was healed by the wonderful scenery and the cute deer.

The Momiji maple tree dyed in red welcomes us at the entrance gate. There're 3000 maple trees, and the world commanding 360 degrees of autumn colors is so impressive. The reflections of maple leaves and Gokuraku Bridge on the pond is specially beautiful. When you visit here, you must see the light-up, too!

Kawami Shikizakura no Sato, located in the Obara district of Toyota City in Aichi Prefecture, has 1,200 four-season cherry trees that bloom on the slopes of the mountain in spring and autumn. The number and colors of the autumn season are much higher, and the sight of a dreamland that can be seen with the autumn leaves is a beauty that fascinates everyone. Usually, the best time to see the cherry blossoms is from mid-November to the latter half of November, but it's best if the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves coincide with each other's peaks.

The pilgrimage of Shikoku has become a little boom. Among the 88 temples, Okubo-ji Temple is the last one. And it's also famous as a fall foliage spot. There're many tall trees and the precinct wrapped with red and yellow is very beautiful.◎The contrast of green and red is beautiful. The best season is the beginning of November.
