I went to Yodo Suiro Waterway to see the early cherry blossom called Kawazu Zakura in Kyoto city. It was so beautiful that I want to stay here longer. What's more, we can see the yellow canola flowers at the same time. There're few places to see Kawazu Zakura in Kyoto city, so you're encouraged to visit here!

Dark pink "Kawazu cherry blossoms" known for their early blooms Approximately 800 Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full bloom every year from mid-February to early March. Although it is canceled, we also hold a night cherry blossom light-up during the cherry blossom festival.

The earliest cherry blossoms in Japan, is Kawazu Zakura. It started from one original tree in Kawazu of Shizuoka Prefecture, has deeper color of pink than other cherry blossoms. Anyway, it's very lovely, isn't it?
