Nice Snowscape! 'Time Bell Tower' And Storehouses In Small Edo 'Kawagoe'Kawagoe Storehouse Town
A town called Small Edo (Koedo) 'Kawagoe' has an easy access from metropolitan area. 'Time Bell Tower' that tells time regularly and the town scape of storehouses looks nice with snow. There're many shops and many people visit here in the daytime. You should visit here when you come nearby.◎The access to Kawagoe is easy by railways of Tobu-Tojo Line and F Liner. But on snowy days, the train service get disrupted. You can go to this town on foot from Kawagoe Station or, the bus is also available. There're parking lots for cars, but I don't recommend because they often get crowded.
As an autumn special thing, Kawagoe Festival has some large floats parade the streets of tasteful historical town. It's worth seeing in daytime, but the night becomes more exciting! When the floats meet each other, they display their showy lanterns.◎Though there're some toll parking area, they get very crowded every year. It's better to use public transportation such as JR, Toubu Tojo Line, or Seibu Shinjuku Line.
