Zuigan-ji Temple is located at the foot of Mt.Bizan in the downtown of Tokushima. Paving stones covered with moss and flowers adding colors modestly are certainly aspects of an old and historical temple. There're many things to see such as Tokushima's famous spring and a Christian lantern. We can't believe that 3 minutes drive from the downtown takes us to the world wrapped in silence.◎Entrance Fee: ¥300 You can see the garden till 17:30. After you ring the bell of a house and pay, a person in charge opens a small (hidden?) door to enter the garden. Free Parking lot is available.

Bizanten Shrine is very popular as a love-spiritual power spot among many women in Tokushima. The colorful 'Hime-mikuji (fortune slip) and heart-shaped stones are photogenic and attract us very much.

Japanese maple trees at Joroku-ji Temple change their colors severally, so you can enjoy seeing beautiful gradation of red, yellow, orange and green. Fall foliage is excellent with the tile roof and the temple gate, I was really excited to take pictures.◎Best season is the end of November to the beginning of December
Among Shikoku 88 Temples, the fourteenth Joraku-ji is the only temple that dedicated Mirokubosatsu (a teacher of Kukai). The temple stands on the big bedrock and the flowing rocks create the unusual scene.
