Nio Dragon Festival' is hold to pray for rain in Mitoyo city, Kagawa Prefecture. A huge dragon made of straw and bamboo , which is as ling as 35m and weights 2t, is carried by 200 people. Then, the other people with buckets and water guns throw water from the both sides of the street. It's an exciting summer festival.◎Date & Time: 8/5, water throwing is 20:00~. You need to wear you can get wet and bring buckets, water guns and so on. There're some food strolls.

Kashiwa-jima Island is said to be a paradise at the westernmost of Kochi Prefecture and its clean and emerald ocean is very popular. This observatory can command the whole view of the island. The view of the paradise island was breathtaking.◎Before arriving at Kashiwa-jima Island, there're two tunnels on Prefectural Road 43. The slope before the first tunnel is steep though you can drive a car. It's better to climb the slope before the second tunnel.

Located at Shodoshima Island, Nakayama Senmaida is one of the 100 most beautiful terraced rice field in Japan. Surrounded by the mountains in the island, the green and gold rice fields spreads like stairs, and it's a comfort scenery of old time in Japan. I thought it beautiful for the first time in my life. The best season is between May and September.◎From the rear of the crowded dinner 'Komame Shokudo', go up by car along the street, then you can find here.
