Well known arts are of course wonderful. But I think the nature in Naoshima protected by the residents since long before Naoshima became famous is superior to the arts.

Miyaura Port on the west is well kown as a terminal of Naoshima Island. And a small boat terminal 'Naoshima Port' at Honmura area opened lately as a huge art work like clouds. Art island entertains us as soon as we arrive the island.◎Naoshima Port is called 'Honmura Port', too.

A bakery opens in an old house at Naoshima. Their breads made from homemade yeast are simple but baked carefully and very tasty. I feel the effort for the ingredients. Let's eat freshly baked breads and go on the art travel!◎They prepare some breads of foodstuffs grown in Setouchi region. ￥200~. Located on the slope along the seaside between Honmura area and Museum area. No photos inside the shop.
